Located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, STR Harrisburg is an outpatient treatment center serving adults with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders. Part of STR Behavioral Health, it offers partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs, delivering flexible, individualized care led by psychiatric providers, licensed clinicians, and experienced behavioral health professionals.
Experience a Balanced Path to Healing
STR Harrisburg's clinicians build each treatment plan around the individual, drawing on trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches like acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and experiential therapy, alongside holistic methods such as meditation and mindfulness. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is available at every level of care when clinically appropriate, addressing both the psychological and physical sides of recovery.
Choose Flexible Levels of Outpatient Care
PHP provides the highest level of outpatient structure, with programming 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday. IOP offers 3-hour sessions, 3 or 5 days a week, with both daytime and evening options to fit work, school, and family schedules. Both levels include individual, group, and family therapy, medication management, case management, and peer support, and care managers can also assist with FMLA, short-term disability, and legal matters.
