Changes Treatment Center

Helping clients actively rebuild their lives in recovery, Changes Treatment Center provides day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), therapy, psychiatry, and recovery support for people struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, mood instability, and co-occurring mental health conditions. Located in Costa Mesa, the program also supports clients needing detox placement and medication-assisted treatment. Their care combines clinical treatment with recovery coaching, movement-based wellness, and practical skill building that encourages clients to stay engaged in recovery outside of sessions.

Stability Through Personalized Recovery

Changes Treatment Center combines evidence-based therapy with personalized support that helps clients better manage emotions, relationships, routines, and everyday struggles. Treatment may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), medication management, coaching, and group therapy. Clients learn coping strategies, accountability, and healthier daily habits while receiving consistent support from therapists, psychiatric providers, and recovery staff.

Rebuilding Confidence Through Experience

Beyond traditional therapy, clients participate in experiential programs designed to bring recovery into everyday life. Through Beyond Therapy outings, clients may hike local trails, create art along the coastline, visit museums or the zoo, practice mindfulness outdoors, and complete team-based activities that build trust and communication. The program also offers yoga, fitness therapy, and cooking classes where clients practice nutrition, meal preparation, organization, and other practical life skills that support long-term recovery.
