With more than 30 years of experience, Therapy Center of New York (TCNY) provides in-person therapy, telemedicine, and teletherapy. The Wall Street office, located in Manhattan’s Financial District near the New York Stock Exchange, serves children, adults, families, couples, and groups. A multidisciplinary team that consists of more than 30 psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers provide individual, group, family, couples, and pre-marriage counseling, as well as life and career guidance.
Therapy, Testing, and Medication Support
TCNY combines therapy, psychiatric care, medication management, and psychological testing under one practice. The team uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), behavior therapy, mindfulness, trauma therapy, and grief counseling. Services also include psychiatric and psychological evaluations, along with neuropsychological, cognitive, intelligence, personality, and psychoeducational testing. Clients receive care for anxiety, depression, stress, panic attacks, eating disorders, trauma, grief, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Support for Specific Needs
The Wall Street office also helps also works with clients navigate relationship and conflict concerns, life transitions, pregnancy and birth-related issues, low self-esteem, cyberbullying and sexting concerns, and gender transitioning and LGBTQ+ issues. Additional services include coaching, employment psychosocial evaluations, and specialty self-pay treatment for panic attacks and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
