Pasadena Villa Outpatient North Charlotte

Located on the north side of Charlotte, Pasadena Villa Outpatient Charlotteprovides partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) care for adults ages 18 and older. Clients address a range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and trauma. For added flexibility, the center also offers an in-person evening IOP and a virtual IOP, so individuals can access structured treatment while keeping up with work, school, and other daily responsibilities.

Build Skills for Life Outside Treatment

The clinical team focuses on present-day challenges, helping clients learn and practice coping strategies, life skills, and self-management techniques they can use right away. Through cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), clients learn to challenge unhelpful thought patterns, manage difficult emotions, and respond to stress in healthier ways. Experiential and expressive therapies, including art therapy, mindfulness, and yoga give clients another way to process their experiences and build self-awareness.

Personalized, Coordinated Care

Each client’s care begins with a comprehensive assessment by their primary therapist, which informs an individualized treatment plan built around their history and goals. With client consent, the staff coordinates with existing psychiatrists, therapists, and primary care providers, acting as an extension of each person’s broader care team. Individual, group, and family therapy round out a whole-person approach to recovery.

The program centers on equipping clients for life after treatment. Weekly skills-based groups help them practice tools for navigating everyday challenges, while family sessions strengthen their support systems at home. As clients near discharge, the team works with community providers to support a smooth transition into ongoing care.
