Illuminate Recovery

Located in Scottsdale Arizona, Illuminate Recovery is a dual diagnosis treatment center that specializes in treating substance use disorders along with anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Illuminate provides individualized treatment programs with the goal of lifelong recovery. Their flexible outpatient options include partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and gender-specific sober living homes. The PHP and IOP lengths vary depending on the specific needs of the client. While they do not provide detox on-site, Illuminate works with local detox programs to provide care. Furthermore, Illuminate Recovery provides aftercare planning for up to 6 months that includes recovery coaching, 12-Step support, and gender-specific sober living homes.

During treatment, clients participate in individual and group therapy that utilize a vast array of methods like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), biofeedback, and eye movement therapy (EMDR). 12-Step and SMART Recovery meetings are encouraged but not required.

The gender-specific living homes provide a safe, structured environment for clients to engage in treatment. On-site managers ensure safety and hold clients accountable for their progress. In addition, there are weekly house meetings as well as breathalyzer testing. The homes feature double occupancy rooms, a pool, and transportation to the outpatient program along with trips to the gym and sober activities.
