About Brain Treatment Center NoVA - Alexandria
Brain Treatment Center NoVA- Alexandria brings brain health, functional health, counseling, occupational therapy, and psychiatry together in one outpatient clinic. Led by a special operations veteran-owned team, they treat children, adults, veterans, first responders, and families with autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injuries, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and other neurological conditions. Their outpatient programs use non-invasive therapies to support brain function and address each client’s individual needs.
Personalized Programs
Care begins with a comprehensive evaluation that includes qEEG brain mapping and functional assessments. Based on results, the team provides magnetic e-Resonance therapy (MeRT), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), neurofeedback, counseling, and occupational therapy through the SPIN (Somatic Program for Integrative Neurobalancing) program. Clients also receive functional health services, pediatric brain health care, veterans and military services, and the chronic pain program with magnetic peripheral nerve stimulation (mPNS), and integrative psychiatry, which includes psychiatric evaluations, medication management, non-pharmaceutical treatment options, and ketamine therapy for eligible patients with treatment-resistant depression or PTSD.
Continued Support Beyond Treatment
The team monitors progress through follow-up evaluations and updates treatment as client’s needs change. When appropriate, treatment plans incorporate hyperbaric oxygen therapy using a Quamvis soft-sided, low-pressure chamber for children and adult clients. Brain Treatment NoVA - Alexandria uses regular follow-up evaluations to review progress and determine when additional services or adjustments are needed.
