Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program Portland is an outpatient program treating mental health conditions in adolescent clients ages 11 to 17. They offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients are treated on an individual basis, with their unique needs being taken into consideration to help them best achieve their recovery goals. The clinical staff uses a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). They combine those with experiential therapies like swimming, gardening, equine therapy, and yoga. Clients participate in both individual and group therapy sessions. Discovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and is in-network with most major insurance providers.
