Monte Nido Virtual LGBTQIA+ Eating Disorder Treatment Program
About Monte Nido Virtual LGBTQIA+ Eating Disorder Treatment Program
LGBTQIA+ adults across the United States can access virtual eating disorder treatment from home while receiving structured support for binge eating, restrictive eating, body image concerns, related emotional and mental health challenges. The program offers online PHP and IOP care that includes therapy sessions, guided meals, nutrition counseling and peer connection throughout the week. Clients work closely with therapists, dietitians, counselors, and clinical specialists during scheduled treatment hours, with remote nursing support available during programming.
LGBTQIA+-Affirming Virtual Support
Throughout treatment, adults participate in therapy groups, behavioral learning sessions, and nutrition-focused care designed to address eating behaviors, stressors, and daily coping strategies. Guided meals help create structure and accountability throughout the day, while group discussions provide space to talk through body image concerns and emotional challenges alongside peers in the LGBTQIA+ community. Queer Body Nutrition sessions led by a counselor and registered dietitian focus on eating habits, body image, and identity-affirming nutrition care in a supportive virtual setting.
Weekly Programming and Ongoing Support
The virtual IOP program meets 3 days weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST for LGBTQIA+ individuals of all genders. The PHP program meets Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm EST, and includes structured daily programming with continued guidance from the care team throughout each session. Aftercare planning is also included to help adults transition into ongoing recovery support following treatment.
