About Monte Nido Virtual ARFID Treatment Program
Children ages 10 and older, teens, and adults with ARFID (Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder) can receive specialized eating disorder treatment from home through Monte Nido's Virtual ARFID Treatment Program. Available in 28 supported states, the 10-week program serves people who avoid or restrict food because of sensory sensitivities, fear of eating, or low interest in food.
Fully Virtual ARFID Support
The program connects clients with therapists, dietitians, and medical providers trained in ARFID treatment. Virtual partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs combine therapy, nutrition counseling, and supported meals to help clients address restrictive eating patterns and nutritional concerns. Separate tracks for teens and adults allow treatment to be tailored to each age group.
Family Group Sessions and Aftercare Support
Family participation is encouraged throughout treatment, with mixed-family group sessions held three times each week. These groups give clients and family members opportunities to connect with others facing similar challenges. Aftercare planning helps clients transition to ongoing support following treatment. They conduct all virtual sessions through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms that protect client privacy.
