About Unified Community Services - Lancaster
Supporting healthier individuals, families, and communities, Unified Community Services - Lancaster is an outpatient behavioral health program that treats mental health concerns and addiction. They offer outpatient and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment for adults, adolescents, and children, along with crisis intervention. They also involve families in care and give pregnant women admission preference for addiction treatment. They are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., making services available throughout the workweek.
Integrated Behavioral Health Care
Their approach combines individual and group treatment, psychotherapy, marital counseling, family therapy, and treatment planning. They conduct behavioral health assessments and psychiatric evaluations and offer medication prescription and management. For addiction, they provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT), relapse prevention, aftercare counseling, court-ordered assessments, treatment court programs, and referrals to self-help programs. They also provide free naloxone nasal spray at their Lancaster office to help reverse opioid overdoses.
Support Across Life Stages
Beyond mental health and addiction treatment, they support children with developmental disabilities and delays through therapy, daily living skills training, service coordination, in-home treatment, and family support. They also coordinate recovery-oriented mental health services for adults and children with ongoing needs. The State of Wisconsin certifies their outpatient mental health and addiction programs, reflecting their broader mission to support healthier individuals, families, and communities across Grant and Iowa Counties.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
This center offers MAT, but does not list specific medications for treatment. Contact the center for details for specific MAT medications.
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
