Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 and has grown to include clinics and franchises across the country. The organization began with a focus on destigmatizing mental health care and uses creativity and humor to help break down barriers that can make seeking therapy feel difficult.
Build Progress Through Treatment
The Waukesha–Stoneridge clinic provides counseling in person and virtually, supporting depression, anxiety, trauma, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), neurodiversity, eating disorders, postpartum and perinatal mental health, chronic pain, psychotic disorders, and relationship concerns. Their clinicians use approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), somatic experiencing, ecotherapy/nature therapy, nutritional therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), gottman training, and cognitive processing therapy (CPT).

This clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some Saturdays available by request. Supporting service members, veterans and their families, first responders, LGBTQ+ clients, women, men, survivors of sexual assault, and mixed-race and multicultural relationships. Additional focus areas include Health At Every Size (HAES), intuitive eating, gender-affirming care, adoption and foster care, reunification, and personalized wellness consults.
