Building Skills Beyond Therapy Sessions
Ellie Mental Health matches clients with therapists based on their needs, preferences, and availability. Through this tailored approach, people can find support for anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief and loss, family conflict, and relationship concerns, with additional support for autism, addiction, eating disorders, and chronic pain. Clients can also build practical skills through Dungeons & Dragons-based groups for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and adults, using gameplay to practice social skills, decision-making, stress management, and working with others.
Drawing From Diverse Approaches
Therapists tailor sessions using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Depending on each client’s needs, therapy can also incorporate art, play, and movement alongside yoga, breathwork, and somatic experiencing, giving clients different ways to engage in the therapeutic process.
