After residential treatment, Sandstone Care’s dedicated aftercare team ensures teens stay supported with ongoing resources and connections. Their discharge planners offer personalized aftercare planning for continued behavioral health support without the hassle of starting over elsewhere—helping clients maintain momentum and stability.

Individual family therapy sessions work to strengthen the family bond and address issues contributing to the teen’s struggles. They also offer multi-family group therapy sessions, in which multiple families whose teens are in treatment find support with one another.

In partnership with LearnWell Academy, Sandstone Care provides academic programming for 2 hours per day, 5 days a week. A certified teacher works in collaboration with the teen’s home school, helping them stay current in their school work and ensure seamless reintegration after treatment.

Sandstone Care gives teens a healthy daily rhythm that starts with group check-in to set goals, followed by classroom academics. Afternoons bring fitness, creative and experiential therapies, and traditional talk therapy. Evenings are for homework, journaling, and relaxation. Weekends include opportunities to connect with family, join off-site activities, enjoy time alone, or finish homework.
