About Washburn House Outpatient
Keeping recovery connected to everyday life, Washburn House treats alcohol use disorder, drug addiction, prescription medication misuse, and co-occurring mental health concerns through day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient care. Clients live at home while attending sessions, and their evening or weekend scheduling can fit around work, family, and other obligations.
Integrate Therapy Across Needs
Treatment combines individual, group, and family therapy with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and 12-Step programming, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) an. Washburn House also uses medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and medication management. An integrated dual diagnosis treatment is provided to address addiction alongside co-occurring mental health concerns, while individualized treatment plans shape care around each client’s needs, interests, preferences, and responsibilities outside treatment.

Washburn House’s counselors help clients with alcohol use disorder understand alcohol’s effects and develop strategies to avoid drinking. They also help clients who misuse prescription medications understand medication-related risks and develop strategies to manage cravings.
