About Urban Counseling Collective
Located near Southwest Hall Boulevard, along Southwest Creekside, Urban Counseling Collective of Oregon offers therapy and coaching for children, teens, and adults facing emotional, mental, and behavioral health concerns. Licensed therapists work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship problems, and life transitions. They adjust care to each person’s needs and goals.
Therapy and Psychiatric Services
Clients of Urban Counseling can attend individual, family, or couples therapy. Therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thoughts and emotions, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to teach mindfulness and emotional regulation, and trauma-focused therapy to process painful experiences. Therapists also help clients build coping skills, resilience, communication, conflict resolution, trust, and personal goals. Psychiatric medication providers conduct evaluations and manage medications as part of a coordinated treatment plan.
Access and Client Groups
Clients of Urban Counseling can choose in-person or telehealth sessions. The practice works with people from different racial and ethnic backgrounds and with LGBTQ+ clients. The team uses culturally responsive care and aims to help each person feel accepted and respected during treatment.
