About Sage Therapy - The Loop
In the heart of downtown Chicago, Sage Therapy - The Loop supports clients through telehealth and limited in-person sessions. Conditions being treated include anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, neurodiversity, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Individual, couples, and family therapy offer different formats for care, while LGBTQ+ affirming services explore gender, sexuality, cultural identity, discrimination, and intersecting identities.
Engage Through Varied Approaches
Treatment draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), motivational interviewing (MI), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Their trauma-focused care includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), while art and play therapy offer other ways to engage. Telehealth expands access when clients do not attend limited in-person sessions.
Connect Through Shared Experiences
Sage Therapy’s neurodiversity-focused care addresses attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism, including a group for women and non-binary people diagnosed with ADHD later in life. They also support specific life experiences with dedicated kids and teens therapy and a group for people grieving a parent's death. Couples and families can work on communication, attachment, conflict, trust, codependency, and interdependence.
