About Sage Therapy - Lakeview
Located two and a half miles from Belmont Harbor, Sage Therapy - Lakeview supports children, teens, adults, couples, and families. They address anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, neurodiversity, life transitions, and relationship concerns through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. LGBTQ+ affirming care explores gender, sexuality, cultural identity, discrimination, and intersecting identities, bringing these experiences directly into treatment when relevant.
Engage Through Varied Approaches
Treatment draws from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), motivational interviewing (MI), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and solution-focused therapy. Its trauma-focused care includes eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), while art and play therapy create other ways to engage in sessions.
Connect Through Shared Experiences
Sage Therapy’s neurodiversity-focused care addresses attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism, including a group for women and non-binary people diagnosed with ADHD later in life. They also support specific life experiences with dedicated kids and teens therapy and a group for people grieving a parent's death. Couples and families can work on communication, attachment, conflict, trust, codependency, and interdependence.
