About Recovia Tempe
Located just west of Loop 101 on Southern Avenue near South Los Feliz Drive, Recovia Tempe provides outpatient care for adults with chronic pain, mental health conditions, and substance use issues. Their Functional Restoration Program combines behavioral health counseling, physical therapy, and medical support in every visit. The goal: to reduce pain, improve mood, and restore daily function through non-interventional, team-based treatment.
Aligns Mindfulness With Movement
Recovia applies a biopsychosocial approach, using evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), pain science education, tai chi, and yoga. Physical therapy calms the nervous system while building strength, and the medical team monitors wellness, prescribes nonnarcotic or supportive medications, and manages outpatient detox when needed. Each treatment plan is tailored to support emotional regulation, pain relief, and functional recovery.
Works With Plans That Work for You
Recovia Tempe offers flexible scheduling and accepts most Arizona-based insurance plans, including Medicare, and workers’ compensation plans. Therapy, physical movement, and medical care are all provided in one convenient location. The center also offers outpatient detox, transportation support through select plans, and flexible payment options to help make treatment more accessible.

Center Overview

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
