About Into Action Recovery - Intensive Outpatient Program
Built on the principle that recovery requires more from a man than just showing up, Into Action Recovery provides intensive outpatient care (IOP) for men with substance use disorders. The program serves young adults, working adults, and older adults who are ready to live at home while receiving structured treatment. Men typically attend 3 to 5 days a week, with 3-hour sessions and evening options that can accommodate work, school, or family responsibilities.
Building Skills, Strength, and Support
Into Action Recovery addresses alcohol, fentanyl, heroin, meth, cocaine, benzodiazepine, and stimulant addiction, along with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and schizoaffective disorder. The team provides dual diagnosis care through group and individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-focused approaches, relapse prevention, stress management, and coping skills. Psychiatric services, medication management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) are available when appropriate.
Recovery That Continues Beyond Treatment
Men may enter the Scottsdale IOP after inpatient, residential, withdrawal management, or partial hospitalization care. Into Action Recovery typically provides 8 to 12 weeks of treatment before a step-down to less intensive outpatient care. Participants can return home or to sober living between sessions to practice recovery skills. The program also includes 12-Step recovery, family counseling, family education, and a peer brotherhood built around accountability and support. Aftercare may include individual therapy, alumni involvement, and connections to local recovery services.
