About Ineza Outpatient Services
With care centered on compassion, practical goals, and meaningful therapeutic relationships, Ineza Outpatient Services offers adults mental health and substance use treatment in Stockton, California. Ineza is a Kinyarwanda word meaning goodness and kindness, the values that guide the practice's approach. Founded by Mohamed Gatikabisi, Ineza serves adults throughout San Joaquin County and offers telehealth across California.
Start With Intake and Structured Support
Care begins with an assessment of each client's concerns, history, strengths, and goals. The clinical team works with the client to recommend an appropriate level of care and develop an individualized treatment plan. Most new clients can schedule an initial assessment within 48 hours of contacting Ineza. The mental health IOP offers a more structured schedule, meeting 3 times per week, for adults who need additional care. A separate SUD IOP and outpatient track supports adults working toward recovery from alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, and other substances. In-person care is available in Stockton, with telehealth options for eligible clients across California. Services are offered in English and Spanish, with insurance and self-pay options available.
Receive Appropriate Support for Varying Concerns
Whether clients are seeking individual therapy, support for their relationship, or a more structured treatment program, Ineza begins care by listening to what matters to them. Services include individual, couples, family, and group therapy, a mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP), and DHCS-certified outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for substance use disorders (SUD). Ineza supports adults experiencing concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, and addresses co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions through coordinated, individualized treatment plans.
Build Skills Through Evidence-Based Approaches
Clinicians use evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and motivational interviewing, alongside other trauma-informed practices. Treatment focuses on building coping skills, understanding patterns, and making changes that support everyday life. Couples and family therapy, including emotionally focused therapy, helps clients improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen relationships. Ineza does not prescribe medication. With client consent, clinicians coordinate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other treating professionals to support continuity of care.
