About Friendly Recovery Center
Healing can be hard when treatment requires people to step away from the routines, relationships, and responsibilities that matter most. At Friendly Recovery Center Orange County, adults receive trauma-informed support for mental health and substance use concerns while remaining connected to daily life, family, and other important sources of support. Care combines counseling, medication services, and evidence-based therapies to address concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and co-occurring conditions through an individualized approach.
Staying Connected During Treatment
Unlike traditional programs that require clients to disconnect from their normal routines, treatment is designed to keep people connected to the things that matter most. Clients may continue taking prescribed medications, stay in touch through responsible phone use, and, when appropriate, bring emotional support or service animals as part of their recovery journey. The center also provides an LGBTQ+-affirming environment where clients receive support in a setting that understands different identities, experiences, and recovery goals.
Gender-Specific Support
Separate programs for men and women create space for conversations formed by shared experiences, relationship concerns, and personal challenges. Whether someone is struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, or co-occurring conditions, care is centered on building stability while remaining engaged with family, work, and personal responsibilities.
