Designed around structured daytime treatment (PHP) with an evening return home, the program allows clients to apply new skills in real-life settings. Capital Recovery Health treats substance use dependencies including opioids, cocaine, and prescription drugs alongside co-occurring mental health conditions. Clinicians build individualized plans following a formal intake that reviews personal history and challenges. Services center on PHP, intensive outpatient care (IOP), and aftercare delivered in a farmhouse-inspired facility in Pittsfield, while clients reside at home or in separate sober living spaces at night.

Therapy and MAT within Day Treatment

Capital Recovery Health runs scheduled therapy blocks alongside medical services with staff coordinating care across each program day. Individual therapy, group counseling, and family therapy take place while clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care within set schedules. When needed, the team uses medically supervised detox and MAT with buprenorphine, methadone, or naltrexone, with clinicians and medical staff adjusting plans as progress is observed.

Daytime Treatment with Evening Transition

Each program day starts with mindfulness practice and group check-ins, then moves into individual therapy sessions and group counseling focused on current behaviors and recovery goals. Psychoeducation sessions cover addiction and relapse prevention before structured therapies such as CBT and DBT take place. The schedule also includes yoga, art therapy, meditation, hiking, or equine therapy, after which clients return home or to sober living and continue the program the next day.
