Beyond Addiction is a private-pay substance use outpatient center with assessments, evaluations, education and counseling services in downtown Asheville, North Carolina, where children, teens and adults are warmly welcomed to assist them with their initial steps towards healing. Assessment services include Substance Abuse Assessments (DWI / Pre and Post-trial), Court-Ordered Substance Abuse Assessments (Non-DWIs).

Courses For Recovery And Self Renewal

This caring center offers a blend of services focused on substance use, DWI challenges, anger management and relationship issues. Alcohol and drugs education traffic school (ADETS) and Prime for Life courses are offered to help people understand the reason for their behavior and comply with legal requirements. ADETS Class fee is $185.00 and can be completed in a week and a half.

Self Compassion Therapy

Every step is guided by compassionate therapists who listen, respect, and care for their clients. The center specializes in acceptance and commitment training (ACT) that helps individuals to build compassion towards self by learning the healthy ways of living life away from harmful substances like drugs, alcohol and smoking. A completion certificate is issued to the clients after completing 12 sessions. Each individual session costs $80 with an additional $20 if assessment is needed. Individual counseling services for drug and alcohol are charged $95.00 per session. Group session charges vary with the number of hours and participants. To manage anger, clients are able to gently unveil what is beneath their feelings and understand its trigger factor through psychotherapy sessions. Clients are offered with virtual counseling sessions to provide more privacy while at their preferred comfortable environment.
