Located near McAlpine Creek Park, Ascend Recovery Center treats adults with substance use disorders (SUD), including alcohol and drugs such as opioids, stimulants, prescription medications, and benzodiazepines. The center also supports individuals with co-occurring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), eating disorders, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

Levels of Care That Meet You Where You Are

The center provides medical detox, day treatment (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP) with a virtual option, and outpatient care. The IOP runs 3–5 days per week (9+ hours weekly), PHP runs 5 days per week (4–6 hours daily), and outpatient care is offered 1–2 days per week. The programs are designed as a continuum of care, with step-down support.

Treatment includes 12-Step principles, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and evidence-based therapies such as individual, group, and family therapy, using modalities like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and relapse prevention.
