Trauma sits at the center of care here, especially when it overlaps with substance use or other mental health concerns. Advanced Psychological Services (APS) serves teens and adults through outpatient therapy, psychological assessment, medication management, telehealth, and a co-occurring intensive outpatient program (IOP). They treat PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, eating disorders, and substance use disorders (SUD), with trauma-focused services for military personnel, first responders, and survivors of sexual or domestic abuse.

One Team Across Treatment

APS combines individual and group counseling with psychiatric care, psychological assessment, relapse prevention planning, and peer recovery services. Clinicians use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). IOP clients attend individual therapy at least weekly and may keep the same counselor for individual and group sessions. APS also runs Parent-Child Co-Regulation Skills and virtual DBT Skills-Mindfulness groups.
