About NorthStar Counseling Center
Founded in the year 1998, NorthStar Counseling Center on the west side of Madison is an outpatient mental health clinic serving clients of all ages and backgrounds seeking help with emotional difficulties that are interfering with their overall well-being. Their team of compassionate staff use research-backed approaches to support clients at all stages of life. They employ both licensed counselors and psychiatrists who are specialized in treating a variety of mental health concerns as well as conduct disorder, adjustment issues, learning disabilities, and more.
NorthStar Counseling Center supports the unique needs of adolescents through a specialized day treatment (PHP) program. This program meets several times throughout the week and includes various group therapy sessions and a weekly family program.
NorthStar Counseling Center accepts a variety of insurance plans including Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Dean, Quarts, and GHC. The adolescent program accepts Dean, Quartz, GHC, and Badgercare.
