About Icarus Wellness and Recovery Idaho
Icarus Wellness and Recovery strives to be a guiding light for people seeking hope and renewal from substance use and mental health disorders. Their residential and outpatient programs use a holistic approach grounded in scientific research to help clients heal, grow, and reclaim their lives. They collaborate with each client and any of their existing healthcare providers to develop a personalized treatment plan that honors their unique journey.
Address Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Needs
Icarus Wellness and Recovery recognizes that one size does not fit all, and tailors treatment plans for each person using evidence-based modalities including:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy to change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors
- Dialectical behavior therapy to strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness
- Motivational therapies to build commitment to recovery
- Mindfulness techniques to improve self-awareness and coping skills
- Family therapy to strengthen communication and support systems
- Creative therapies to encourage self-expression
- Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), when clinically appropriate, to support recovery from certain substance use disorders
Stay in a Comfortable and Inviting Atmosphere
Clients recover in a clean, modern home designed to feel welcoming from the moment they arrive. Friendly staff create a supportive atmosphere, while catered meals simplify daily life. Shared bedrooms and bathrooms encourage connection, and a spacious backyard with shaded pergolas offers a peaceful place to relax, reflect, and recharge between therapy sessions.
Follow a Structured Pathway to Maintain Recovery
Before discharge, clients work with the treatment team to develop an aftercare plan that supports ongoing recovery efforts. Aftercare plans may include continued therapy, outpatient treatment, peer support groups, sober living referrals, medication management, and alumni community involvement. As part of their continuum of care, clients can step down to Icarus’s partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs in Boise, allowing them to maintain daily responsibilities while receiving continued support.
