About Footprints to Recovery Illinois
Footprints to Recovery Illinois provides clients with residential care, outpatient programs, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and day treatments (PHP) at their 94-bed facility. Footprints to Recovery Illinois helps the men and women of northwest Chicago and surrounding areas who are struggling with alcohol and drug addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Detox services are not available on-site, but they can refer clients to a partnered facility. Outpatient plans are the most flexible and least intensive, meeting 3 hours a day for 1 to 2 days a week. Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) generally meet for 3 hours a day, 3 to 5 days a week, and day treatments (PHP) meet for 6 hours a day, 5 days a week. The treatment plans include both individual and group therapy sessions with evidence-based treatments. The therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), 12-Step facilitation, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and medication management. A few holistic approaches they use include yoga, Tai Chi, and art therapy.
Footprints to Recovery Illinois offers a few special programs including a special stand-up comedy group, job searching, resume building, and life skills training. Footprints to Recovery Illinois is accredited by the Joint Commission. They accept most major insurances including Medicaid.
