About Discovery Mood Fairfax
Discovery Mood Fairfax is an outpatient program treating mental health conditions in clients ages 11 and older. They offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), and a specialized stars and stripes program for military clients. Clients are treated on an individual basis, with their unique needs being taken into consideration to help them best achieve their recovery goals. The clinical staff uses a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). clients participate in both individual and group therapy sessions. Discovery Mood Fairfax is accredited by the Joint Commission and is in-network with most major insurance providers.
Discovery Mood Fairfax offers a specialized program for military clients called Stars and Stripes. This program is for veterans, active duty military, first responders, and their families. This program is led by staff who understand military culture and is designed to meet the unique needs of these individuals. The program includes evidence-based therapies, holistic therapies, and interventional treatment. Discovery Mood Fairfax can coordinate services at discharge to help clients continue their journey to recovery.
