They use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), experiential therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), family therapy, hypnotherapy, individual and group therapy, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), and trauma therapy. They believe that to heal trauma you need to replace negative experiences with positive ones through experiential intervention. Technology is also a large part of their program, and they employ modalities like red light laser therapy and biofeedback which are tools used to decrease inflammation in the body. Defining Wellness Centers has gender-specific treatments because they believe men and women heal differently and need to have different approaches. On the quad, clients enjoy amenities such as a fire pit, a labyrinth, pickleball courts, volleyball courts, five hole putting green, and a meditation garden.
