Treat Substance Use Disorders with FDA-Approved Medications

Virtual medication-assisted treatment (MAT) at Charlie Health is designed to help clients with substance use disorders (SUD) by combining FDA-approved medications with their hallmark virtual treatment programs, including virtual IOP. Charlie Health is able to provide new or renew existing prescriptions for medications such as Naltrexone and Suboxone to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, and stabilize clients during the healing process. Virtual IOP with MAT can effectively address a variety of mental health concerns, including serious mental health conditions and co-occurring conditions, defined as situations where people experience two or more mental health conditions at the same time. This integrated approach ensures clients receive the support they need to manage substance use while addressing underlying mental health conditions for long-term recovery.

Help Teens Thrive with Flexible, At-Home Programs

Charlie Health’s virtual teen treatment programs, including its virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP), provides structured mental health care tailored to adolescents, offering therapy sessions more frequently than traditional weekly therapy. Delivered directly to teens in their homes, the program allows young people to continue school and extracurricular activities while receiving evidence-based treatment. By bringing teens with similar mental health challenges together in group sessions, they can learn not only from the group facilitator but also from the experiences and insights shared by their fellow group members. Each teen receives a personalized treatment plan with individual, group, and family sessions multiple times per week, ensuring comprehensive care that addresses their mental health issues and strengthens family dynamics. With flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, teens can access the support they need without putting life on hold.

Access Affordable, High-Quality Care with Medicaid

Charlie Health proudly accepts Medicaid in select states, ensuring that high-quality mental health care is accessible to those who need it most. By partnering with Medicaid, Charlie Health helps remove financial barriers, making evidence-based treatment available to clients facing complex mental health conditions. Their virtual intensive outpatient programs (IOP) offer personalized therapy plans, including individual, family, and group therapy, as well as access to holistic and specialized support. Whether seeking care for oneself or a loved one, Charlie Health is committed to providing affordable treatment without compromising quality.

Foster Growth and Resilience with Family Programming

Charlie Health’s family programming offers dozens of free family support groups and resources tailored for parents, caregivers, and loved ones of current clients or alumni. Recognizing that family involvement is key to clinical success, these resources empower families to navigate the treatment journey with confidence and connection. Available throughout the week and on weekends, Charlie Health’s free family groups provide a welcoming space to gain skills, share experiences, and stay connected. Whether a family needs guidance, tools, or emotional support, family programming ensures families are equipped to support a loved one’s healing.
