About Vantage Point Therapy
A Florida-based virtual therapy practice, Vantage Point Therapy works with adults navigating substance use, behavioral addictions, self-destructive patterns, and emotional or relationship concerns. Marisa Levin, LMHC, sees clients who may be actively using substances, newly sober, maintaining recovery, or affected by a loved one’s addiction. Her addiction work includes alcohol, opioids, cannabis, prescription medications, kratom, and other substance use concerns, along with gambling, pornography, gaming, shopping, and sex and love addiction.
Addiction Patterns and Relapse Prevention
Levin integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and trauma-informed care. She helps clients identify emotional triggers, beliefs, and behaviors connected to addictive or self-destructive cycles. She also works on relapse prevention, emotional regulation, healthier coping, boundaries, communication, and rebuilding trust. Levin adjusts treatment to each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals.
Virtual Intensives for Relationships
Standard virtual sessions last about 55 minutes and may take place weekly, biweekly, or as needed. Vantage Point Therapy also provides family and relationship therapy along with focused virtual intensives. The Foundational Intensive addresses immediate addiction-related relational stress, while the Rebuilding Intensive focuses on trust and connection after addiction. The Family Systems Intensive addresses long-standing family conflict, enabling dynamics, mistrust, emotional cutoffs, and repeated instability.
