SunCloud Health cares for adults and adolescents with substance use, addiction, eating disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, and trauma, using an integrated care model. SunCloud’s goal is to treat the whole person — their underlying biological, psychological, social, and spiritual causes of mental health conditions — providing a more comprehensive care plan. The Gaithersburg location specializes in virtual IOP for adults, but SunCloud Health has locations in Chicago, Naperville, Northbrook, and Matteson.

Dimensional Treatment Approach

A variety of evidence-based treatments such as individual and group therapy, twelve-step facilitation, psychiatric treatment, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and family intervention come together to provide patients with the tools they need to heal. Their team of licensed mental health professionals are specially trained to provide highly personalized care to all patients, in addition to long-term support. They are accredited by the Joint Commission, the Eating Disorders Coalition's Leadership Circle, and the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP) Presidents Council.
