About Darin King Counseling
Fully virtual specialized mental health care allows adults across Pennsylvania to receive trauma-informed therapy through secure telehealth with licensed Pennsylvania therapists. Darin King Counseling provides individual, couples, and family counseling for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, grief, and relationship concerns. The practice also offers LGBTQ+-affirming care and EMDR intensives through secure telehealth.
Specialized Care for Every Client
Darin King Counseling matches each client with a therapist whose expertise aligns with their needs. The practice provides individualized treatment using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and the Gottman Method when appropriate. Flexible morning, afternoon, and evening appointments make telehealth easier to fit into daily schedules.
Beginning Care Through Telehealth
Darin King Counseling begins care with a free 15-minute consultation to discuss each client's concerns, answer questions, and recommend the most appropriate therapist. Clients typically begin with weekly sessions before transitioning to biweekly appointments as they progress toward their treatment goals. Every session takes place through HIPAA-compliant video, allowing individuals, couples, and families across Pennsylvania to access therapy from home, whether participating together or from separate locations.
