About Transformations at Mending Fences
Nestled in the Floridian countryside, Transformations at Mending Fences offers residential and PHP care for substance use and co-occurring disorders. Their program is designed for veterans and first responders to promote their emotional, physical, and mental wellness. One of their most notable therapies is equine therapy. Their campus features stables and horse riding as part of treatment, as an addition to their 400+ acre campus in northern Florida. Transformation also provides medication-assisted treatment and facilitates specialized groups such as managing guilt and shame, LGBTQIA+, nutrition, trauma, self-esteem, and a family program.
Additionally, Transformations facilities experiential therapies such as music therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy, and adventure therapy. Some of their evidence-based methods include EMDR, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
Clients can enjoy Transformations at Mending Fences’s expansive rural campus in beautiful Northern Florida. The site has separate residential and PHP buildings in addition to their main campus building, with 24 residential beds and 21 partial hospitalization beds. The campus boasts private and semi-private rooms, a firepit, music studio, yoga room, shared TVs, access to nature, a swimming pool, and horse stables. Clients also have access to a modest recreation space with a ping pong table and a basketball hoop.
