About Walk by Faith Counseling
As a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Walk by Faith Counseling supports children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, life transitions, eating disorders, trauma, and substance use concerns. The practice also works with couples and families navigating relationship challenges, family dynamics, and sexual health. Services include individual, couples, and family counseling, as well as psychoeducational and wellness groups.
Tools for Healing, Growth, and Stronger Connections
The team uses evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client’s needs. Therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), narrative therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). Children ages 8–18 can access age-appropriate support through play therapy, cognitive processing therapy (CPT), and psychoeducational interventions focused on self-awareness and problem-solving.
Honoring Your Values, Building on Your Strengths
Walk by Faith Counseling emphasizes support for veterans, first responders, their families, and underserved populations. Their approach combines clinical care with lived experience and optional faith-integrated counseling that respects each client’s beliefs. The practice also uses person-centered, strengths-based approaches to trauma and grief, focusing on resilience, practical coping tools, and healthier relationships.
