Therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, strengths-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and play therapy based on the client’s needs. They offer individual, couples, family, child, teen, young-adult, and parent-focused counseling. Autism services may include ABA-related support in the office, by telehealth, at home, or in community settings. Clients continue living at home and can schedule therapy around work, school, parenting, and other daily responsibilities.

Costs, Insurance, and Access

Private-pay therapy costs $165 per session, and they may reduce rates based on financial need. Insurance participation varies by therapist. Insurance accepted includes Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem, Kaiser, Oxford, Oscar, Select Health, Medicaid, and Colorado Access Medicaid. Autism services may use private pay or eligible Medicaid DD/SLS waiver coverage.
