Set along the canal in Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood near Fremont and Seattle Pacific University, Riverbank Therapy provides mental health car for adults, teens, couples, and families. Therapists address depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), grief, perfectionism, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), eating concerns, body image, and relationship concerns.
Therapy for Mental Health and Life Transitions
Clients can access individual, couples, and family therapy through in-person in their Queen Anne office or virtually throughout Washington. The center matches clients with therapists based on their needs and offers a free 20-minute virtual consultation before therapy begins. The team uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), somatic therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), motivational interviewing, narrative therapy, and other approaches.
Additional Support and Specialized Services
Riverbank Therapy also offers support groups, couples therapy, clinical supervision, business consultation, and services related to workers’ compensation. Individual clinicians also work with LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent clients, immigrants, people with chronic illness, and clients navigating pregnancy, postpartum changes, parenting, or identity concerns. Sessions vary by clinician, with some available virtually only and others offered both in person and online.
