Therapists at Denver Mental Health Collective use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, play therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Sessions may focus on recognizing patterns, grounding, emotion regulation, communication, values, coping, and trauma processing, with pacing shaped by each client’s goals and readiness. They also use play therapy with children, address school stress and identity with teens, and offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care.
