About Center for Resilience Strategies - Capitol Hill
A mental health practice focused on individualized psychotherapy, Center for Resilience Strategies works with clients starting at age 3 through individual, child and adolescent, couples, family, and group therapy. Therapists address anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, and suicidal ideation, and they also offer LGBTQIA+-affirming therapy. Clients can attend sessions in person or through teletherapy, and the intake team helps match clients with therapists based on specialties and methods.
Therapy Shaped to the Client
Therapists use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems, brainspotting, somatic experiencing, strengths-based therapy, and motivational interviewing (MI). They adjust methods by age and session type. Younger clients may use play, art, or sand tray therapy, while couples may use emotionally focused therapy, the Gottman Method, or solution-focused brief therapy.
Ketamine, Groups, and Coaching
Center for Resilience Strategies also offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) as another option for trauma, anxiety, depression, and lingering emotional challenges. CRS provides preparation, psychotherapy, and integration, while Trend Mental Health handles medical eligibility, prescriptions, and monitoring. Clients can also access DBT, teen, parenting, self-esteem, and support groups or use life coaching for ADHD skills, sobriety support, and relationships.
