Momentum Recovery
About Momentum Recovery
Designed for men stepping down from higher levels of care, Momentum Recovery combines sober living and graduate housing with access to treatment through the Restored Life Continuum of Care in Kokomo, Indiana. Residents live in a structured recovery home with clear expectations, daily routines, and transportation to treatment while continuing care through Restored Life's partial hospitalization program (PHP) or intensive outpatient program (IOP). Across the organization, many staff members have lived recovery experience and provide peer support.
Continue Treatment While Living at Momentum
Restored Life’s day treatment program meets 5 hours a day, 5 days a week, and outpatient groups meet 3 hours a day, 3 days a week. Depending on each resident's treatment plan, clinical care may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), medication-assisted treatment (MAT), and groups covering relapse prevention, trauma, grief, anger management, and family relationships. Music, art, and journaling sessions provide additional opportunities to build coping skills. Drug screening and progress updates for probation referrals are available when applicable.
Build Long-Term Recovery
Residents can participate in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), SMART Recovery, and Refuge Recovery while living at Momentum. Alumni activities, peer coaching, employment counseling, and relapse prevention planning help men build the skills and support needed for independent living.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
