This hospital exists to be a source of hope for patients and their families who are struggling with substance use disorders of all kinds. They provide comprehensive care ranging from assessment, detoxification, inpatient, day treatment, and continuing care. Their compassionate medical and clinical teams are committed to helping you heal from your addiction by providing medication and therapies that build a foundation for success in recovery. Their treatment includes education around the disease of addiction, group therapy, case management services, relapse prevention, family education, recreational therapy and life skills training.
Day treatment is offered at Sharp for patients who do not require 24-hour supervision or are stepping down from inpatient care. Their continuing care program lasts for a lifetime at no cost to the patient. In this program they learn to problem solve the issues that come along with transitioning back to home, work and community in weekly support groups. Patients can also find therapists to engage in regular counseling.
