About Rubicon Behavioral Health
Rubicon Recovery Center provides safe, nonjudgmental outpatient care for addiction recovery. They offer outpatient levels of care with varying intensities— day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment. They can also coordinate a housing component for clients with preferred housing in the area. Rubicon Recovery Center’s team of experienced healthcare professionals, including therapists, counselors, and medical staff, offers the necessary care and guidance for lasting healing.
Build a Strong Foundation for Recovery
At Rubicon, every aspect of clients’ well-being is considered and every moment counts. Clients receive a truly personalized approach to healing that considers the physical and psychological impacts of addiction. With 2 individual therapy sessions a week, clients build strong rapport with their therapist, while participating in at least 5 groups a day, with 2 group sessions led by their same primary therapist weekly. Rubicon also prioritizes family involvement, with weekly family therapy sessions to incorporate loved ones in the healing process. With in-house medication management and group sessions limited to 12 people, clients receive the attention and support they need.

Rubicon Recovery Center uses a range of therapeutic methods for holistic recovery. Therapy sessions focus on cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed techniques. Clients engage in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and relapse prevention. Their program includes workshops on necessary life skills for sustained recovery. Rubicon Recovery Center teaches clients skills like budget and time management and emotional and relational skills like effective communication and emotional regulation while neurofeedback helps restore balance and normal functioning after substance addiction.

As clients progress in recovery, they enjoy increasing independence with day passes to movies, bowling alleys, and mini-golf courses. Summers bring refreshing trips to nearby lakes, while springtime Sundays are marked by family style dinners that create connection and support.
