The Beach Rehab is Asia’s only purely beachside residential rehabilitation centre.

Seaside seclusion – not isolation

The Beach Rehab Thailand in Pranburi on the Gulf of Thailand just south of Hua Hin is a residential rehabilitation centre that provides that kind of seclusion and the expertise necessary to guide those suffering during their journey of recovery. Overlooking a sheltered beach and nestled against a forested limestone hill next to a Buddhist temple and a peaceful fishing village, The Beach Rehab employs a unique approach to treatment and a nourishing family-like environment that makes clients feel particularly at home.

Environment, mind, body and spirit

Its system is a healthy fusion of a tranquil environment (serviced accommodation with lush garden-fringed swimming pool) with cutting edge treatment approaches, outdoor activities and formulated nutritional and hydration programs. The system avoids dogma and commands and has been developed without favouring any particular method.

Clients run their own race

The Beach Rehab methodology is centred on the belief that everyone achieves recovery at their own pace and that clients should be treated with compassion and respect for their individuality. The retreat’s experienced counsellors are qualified members of professional regulatory and accreditation bodies. Aside from education, expertise and experience, all counselling, clinical, treatment and support staff are selected for that extra essence of humanity and peace to ensure they are engaged with the centre’s overall philosophy–to guarantee a safe confidential space in which to grow and heal. Clients are also prepared for life after rehab, and introduced to other support groups, including the range of 12-step programs and other avenues of care.

Areas of care

1. Mental health issues

2. Complete range of drug and alcohol addiction issues

3. Eating disorders

4. Dual or multiple diagnoses

5. Process addiction–such as sex, gambling, or gaming

Focus on diet is crucial

The Dopamine Diet

The latest findings in neuroscience and nutrition are utilized to restore the clients’ brain chemicals often drained severely due to mental health issues, addictions or eating disorders. Elevating neurotransmitters through custom-designed diets will reduce cravings and the risk of relapse as natural levels are restored. Such a diet is a healthy, scientifically proven way to rid the body of toxins and to reduce cravings, improve mood, and enhance sleep and thus clients’ chances of long-term recovery.

Nutraceutical Therapy

Cutting-edge neuroscience research underpins The Beach Rehab’s innovative program to harness nutraceuticals–supplements used for medicine and nutrition–to heal the brain at the cellular level. This facility is the only rehab outside of the United States to offer such therapy.
