About Saint Francis Ministries West Campus
Saint Francis Ministries at Salina West provides a faith-based haven for youth ages 6-18 struggling with trauma, aggression, or substance use. The center integrates Christian values with holistic and therapeutic methods through its residential care programs, creating a unique environment for healing.
Supportive, Evidence-Based Therapies
The treatment approach uses therapies like equine-assisted and art therapy to help youth express themselves and build confidence. Through individual, group, and family counseling developing healthy coping skills, improving relationships, and learning to manage conditions like trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders. The center also provides on-site education for youth to continue their studies, while spiritual guidance encourages personal reflection and healthy living.
Facilities Designed For Holistic Recovery
Nestled in the serene rolling hills of central Kansas, the campus features a 42-bed facility and two cottages that each house eight children. Amenities are designed to promote holistic recovery and include a gym, a library, a peaceful garden, as well as recreational options like yoga and a ropes course.
