About OAR Wellness Centre
With forward-oriented care grounded in structure and routine, OAR Wellness Centre helps adults, ages 25 and older, prepare for life after treatment through residential addiction care. Conditions treated include alcohol, opioids, cocaine, cannabis, prescription medication dependence, and co-occurring anxiety, depression, trauma, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), burnout, and stress.
Strengthen Recovery Through Treatment
Each day in OAR Wellness Centre moves through individual therapy, group work, education, mindfulness, yoga, fitness, and life-skills practice. Therapies may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), internal family systems (IFS), and motivational interviewing (MI). Care includes family sessions, medication-assisted treatment (MAT) coordination when needed, and early aftercare planning.
Prepare for Life After Discharge
OAR Wellness Centre sits on a secluded, forested property with shared and private rooms, lounges, group rooms, reflection spaces, and outdoor walking areas. Discharge planning starts early and connects emotional regulation, craving management, sleep, routines, work, relationships, community referrals, and support meetings.
Center Overview
Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
This center accepts patients receiving MAT prescribed elsewhere for opioid use disorder, but does not provide MAT.
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
