About Newport Mental Health
Located on Quail Street in Newport Beach, this center treats adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) through residential care, day treatment (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Programs include scheduled daily therapy sessions, with some levels allowing clients to return home after treatment.
Work Through Therapy and Medication
Treatment at Newport Mental Health uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), along with medication management from licensed psychiatrists. Clients attend individual, group, and family therapy, while psychoeducation sessions explain symptoms, treatment approaches, and coping strategies applied during treatment.
Continue Care Across Programs
Clinicians review progress and adjust treatment plans as symptoms change. Newport Mental Health treats co-occurring substance use alongside mental health conditions. Clients can move between residential care, day treatment, and outpatient care, maintaining continuity across levels while applying skills during and between sessions.
