About Kentucky Wellness Center
Set within a peaceful residential campus, Kentucky Wellness Center provides 24-hour residential mental health treatment for adults experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, and dissociative disorders. The program combines psychiatric services, clinical support, and individualized treatment planning within a structured residential setting. Same-day admissions are available, allowing adults age 18 and older to begin treatment without extended wait times. Residents receive care within a pet-friendly campus that includes residential accommodations, therapy spaces, and outdoor areas used throughout treatment.
Comprehensive Assessments and Therapy Planning
Treatment begins with comprehensive assessments, psychiatric evaluations, medical screenings, and a review of each resident's history, symptoms, and treatment goals. Kentucky Wellness Center uses these findings to develop individualized treatment plans delivered by psychiatrists, licensed therapists, counselors, and support staff. Residents participate in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, medication management, family therapy, and group therapy as part of their residential treatment program.
Therapy, Activities, and Continuing Care
Residents follow a structured residential schedule that combines psychiatric care, therapy sessions, therapeutic activities, and shared meals prepared by the center's culinary team. They attend individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric appointments, and family sessions when appropriate while participating in yoga, meditation, art therapy, music therapy, and animal-assisted therapy. Treatment plans are reviewed throughout the program, and discharge planning begins early to coordinate continuing care and virtual aftercare services following residential treatment.
