About GoForth Recovery
GoForth Recovery is a non-profit organization located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, dedicated to supporting men struggling with substance use disorders. The facility offers a residential transitional living program that provides housing and a structured environment to help individuals recover from addiction. Their primary mission is to empower residents to take responsibility for their recovery and lay the groundwork to become productive members of the community.
Build a Strong Foundation for Recovery
The program at GoForth Recovery includes a combination of 12-step meetings and life skills classes, totaling eight hours per week. Life skills topics cover areas such as decision-making, refusal skills, interpersonal skills, values and responsibilities, goal setting, money management, education, and anger management. Beyond these classes, the organization assists residents with job placement, transportation, basic healthcare, and access to external counseling services. Residents are encouraged to volunteer in the community to share messages of hope with others still struggling with addiction.
High-Quality Care
The organization emphasizes providing the same level of care to individuals without financial means as those who can afford premium treatment options. Prospective residents are required to commit to a minimum six-month stay in the residential recovery program.
