About Fria-Klinikka
Fria Klinikka, surrounded by the serene greenery of Nuuksio National Park, offers private rooms and expert treatment for substance use disorders using the Minnesota Model. The model emphasizes abstinence and uses the 12-Steps as a central part of recovery. The center offers structured intensive outpatient and residential programs with peer support aftercare.
Treatment begins with a careful assessment period to create a personalized treatment plan. During the program, they have a family weekend, where family members can visit and discuss the impact that their loved one's substance use had on them. Aftercare includes 11 months of follow-up treatment in-person or remotely. Individuals will continue to receive support during this period as they live a sober lifestyle. The center also offers shame-free specialized treatment for those who have relapsed.
